Dr Kristen Upson is an epidemiologist whose research focuses on environmental exposures across the life course of women’s reproductive health. Her PhD dissertation investigated the role of endocrine disrupting chemicals on endometriosis risk and her subsequent endometriosis research has focused on early-life factors.
Dr Upson plans to expand her endometriosis research programme at Michigan State University, where she is a recipient of the NIH Pathway to Independence Award (R00).
She also serves as an associate editor for Human Reproduction.
Kristen Upson was appointed a WES Junior Ambassador in December 2018.
