Mira Mousa is a PhD candidate in the Women’s and Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford. Mira will be establishing a women’s health cohort to collect vital health data and investigate the phenotypic profile and associated risk factors affecting women of Arabian ancestry, specifically endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome, and uterine fibroids. She will be conducting the first Candidate-Gene Association Study of endometriosis to validate the known endometriosis-associated genetic markers in women of Arab ancestry, and investigate their relative effects in relation to detailed phenotypic information.
