Joanna Rose carries out the day-to-day administration of the World Endometriosis Society, including membership services. She reports to the secretary general.
Joanna grew up in Swaziland, Vietnam, and Thailand and have been fortunate to travel and meet new people her whole life. She completed a BA in anthropology from the University of British Columbia so as to continue her multi-cultural education. Her professional background is in hospitality and events, which led her to International Conference Services (ICS), which serves as WES’s secretariat.
Joanna has been volunteering with different medical organisations since the age of 13. From Operation Smile and the AJ Bay Foundation, to the Rare Disease Foundation, she has been inspired by the countless professors and health care professionals, who dedicate their time to improving the lives of others.
Joanna joined the WES team in November 2015.
