Jenna Abji

Having been brought up in the hospitality industry in East Africa, it wasn’t long before Jenna found herself working for hotels when she moved to Canada. She spent a few years living in Calgary and is now grateful to call Vancouver her home. She discovered she had a passion for planning and found herself drawn to the event industry. Her experience lies in conferences with a focus on housing and registration although she is versatile and enjoys applying her skills to many different areas of the event planning process.

Jenna has a BA in English Literature and International Relations and a diploma in event management. She brings four years of experience from the hospitality industry in various areas including front office, sales, catering, and accounting. Additionally, she has over four years of experience working in housing and registration within the event planning industry. Her combined hospitality and event planning experience makes Jenna a strong asset as Housing and Registration Manager for the WCE2017 team.
